I just got an offer from the AT&T universal card (plat) with 0% APR for balance transfers. What I need to know is who has one, what was your score when you got it and what CR did they pull. Thanks in advance!
My HD has one... got the same offer back in 2/02 back then he was at 741 and they pulled Trans Union. His CL is 12K. He also received 0% on purchases for 6 months.
RaiderPam, Do you mind telling me what, if any, negatives did you have and how old were they when you applied? Also, what was your CL? By the way, was your card the Platinum? This is the offer I received.
The offer was for the platnim, but I received the basic,just upgraded to the rewards and received a lower apr see rons post, I had a 4 year old repo a paid loan showing lates 2 years old and a paid tax lien from 97. My score has recently dropped to 606 I had a ca put a account on went to 622 and when my target card showed up I lost points even with the target in dispute with equifax it did not bring up my score.They started my limit with 2500 and increased it last month to 3000 without asking. Thanks for the info Pam. I was thinking of disputing the one stupid collection I have on EQ and applying for the card.....Not sure if it's going to be worth it in the long run... I'm very close to applying for a mortgage (in the next 2 to 3 weeks) and I don't want my CR to take a hit for a CC I may not get.
