My credit score on Equifax is now around 600, I disputed everything negative and want to apply for something, who checks Equifax only?

    Dear Iam,

    Please slow down lol.

Just wait awhile to see what the results of your disputes are.

Once resolved you should get back some of those 60 points you lost.

    :)

These are stubborn accounts that won't come off after a year of disputing. They are collection accounts and I cannot get anything but sub-prime with them on there. I want some kind of retail card and know that if you dispute all the bads on your Eq. it temporarily raises your score and hides the negatives.

I had a new account show up on equifax, showing limit 58.00 balance 58.00 when I put it in dispute it did not change my score.and I lost 20 points

For some reason, not everyone gets a boost in score when they place an account on EQ in dispute. I'm one of them.

Using the dispute method, I got a 75 point boost to 754!

Discover pulls equifax , Target Visa and Household Bank do also.

Exxon/Mobil pulled Experian that was the only retail card that I applied for.

You may want to wait until your scores are a little bit higher. I think Target pulls Equifax for the Guest Card and I've read it's pretty easy to get.

Be advised that discover also pulls Experian. But a 600 won't get you a discover, so don't apply for it.
