Wow. THis beats all. Just hung up with EQ, who told me that one of my disputes has been verified, and that they will be removing it from my account as soon as they complete the investigation on the other two items. THis can't be legal?! The two have nothing to do with the other! And they have confirmed to me that they now know that the item is inaccurate, yet they continue to report the inaccurate information to third parties! Can this possibly be legal???
They can WAIT...they DON'T have to...but they can. That is one reason you DON'T DISPUTE LIKE 20+ THINGS AT ONE TIME!!!
