Check it out! They're finally becoming more up-to-date! After your identity is confirmed, you have the option of getting your report for free or getting the FICO Score report from TransUnion for 12.95. This has to be new as of TODAY, because I checked my report last night about 11:30 PM. Let me know what ya'll think!

So they are actually going to let you compare THEIR bogus score to the real one hmmmmmmm. If anyone tries this, let us know if they match or are close, b/c if they are we know this is another BS score.

I tried to order the score for both my hubby and myself but it won't go through.

It keeps saying my CC's failed and at the the bottom says something about an internal error.

Is this happening to anyone else??

Thank God, hopefully they are getting rid of their scoring system. Get this I had 7 negs and 6 pos pd on time and my score went down 89 points after having all negs removed! I started out at 679 and was slammed.

Remember, getting negs removed doesn't automatically guarantee a score increase. If your positives have only been open for say, 6 months BUT your negs had an average age of 15 years, there's a good chance that deleting the negatives will in fact reduce your score becasue your average account age has been drastically reduced.

Their website is still all screwed up when I try to order - they must be implementing this as we speak.

FYI - I tried to order 3 times today (none worked) and they charged me all 3 times - $12.95 a pop! I just confirmed with my CC company.

    BEWARE

You have to go through the normal process of ordering the report online. When you get near the end, it gives you a choice of free report/personal score OR report/FICO for $12.95.

If you look closely, you will recognize that this is in conjunction with MyFico.

After reading TMitchells post, WHY are you guys still trying to order the score??

WAIT UNTIL IT WORKS before you waste $12.95 to get a message saying "ERROR WE CAN NOT PROCESS YOUR REQUEST AT THIS TIME"....that's not a good deal in my opinion.

But if y'all want to keep rushing over and spending the cash....

Good point, Nave. Remember everybody, this is TU's system we're dealing with. Give 'em some time to put more hamsters on the wheel before you shell out another 12.95...

I'm going to wait for at least 2 weeks! There is no telling what hidden bugs will rear their ugly heads during the first couple of weeks or so. I imagine we will hear quite a few horror stories as TU attempts to upgrade their system and merge their reports with myfico.com. Can you imagine?

Of course this had to happen the day I was supposed to receive my results. Figures. Now I'll probably have to wait for the mail.

Don't feel like locking myself out. :)

I have an idea. If TU charges $12.95 for the real score, They should charge $12.95 to delete any item off their Credit Report. (LOL)

    What do you guys think?
