I just hit 102 inquiries total(soft and hard) and nothing bumped. Did they stop this or has the total been raised?

I have 172 total. Each day I pull my report and score, I get 2 new inquiries, but 2 drop off. Next Sunday, if I calculated right, I should have my next hard inq. fall off. Then the next one will be 1 week from tomorrow. That will leave me with 1 hard. That means I can apply for something then. LOL

I was at 112......then it hiccuped (no updates for 4 days, even when I was pulling daily) and jumped to 114

Wow you guys have been paying attention that close?

All I know is on either the 20th or 21st of this month I started pulling everyday, cause I was figuring I was losing inquiries every 7 months. Then on the 22nd of July, I lost an inquiry before the 7 month period so it blew my theory. BTW THAT inquiry was dated 1/02 (can't remember the exact date.)

Well low and behold, I faithfully started pulling everyday (which gives you 2 inquiries like said above) and my next inquiry (2/23/02) just fell off yesterday, although I have yet to see a score change.

going to count all my inquries now

When you check your FICO score, look at the inquiries section.

I gained a 12 point boost going from 4 inquiries down to 3 inquiries.

    Flush-
I had 2 inquiries removed last week and it did nothing to my score, in fact one of the inquiries was from a CA.

This inquiry brings me to 5 left, so hopefully when I get to 4 I'll get a nice little boost. BTW has anyone had the reason "too many inquiries" fr a reason code change?

Yep I actually got turned down for a cc because of too many inquiries. If they gave me the dang card I would not have so many to begin with.

I didn't any score increases on the older inq's. But, the ones that were 45 days old when they were deleted gave me increases of up to 7 pts. All the inquiries I have left pertain to the car I bought on June 26th. If history repeats, they will be deleted on the 45th day.

    Ok here's what I've got....

    136 total inquiries
    14 AR/PRM
6 EU (some reason not considered a HARD)
    4 Hard (5/29, 5/8, 5/7, 4/25, I thought I had 5 but I was wrong)

So is 136 the max we can have? How is everyone figuring the deletions?

My EU's, AR's and PRM's are OLDER than the already deleted hards were.

I have 172. I have been pulling my scores and reports daily for 2 months now. My deletion of hards has been 45 days after reported. As long as I continue to pull them daily, they should continue to be deleted after 45 days. The proof will be next Sunday when another hard is "scheduled' to be deleted.

    LKH-
SOOOOOOOO, I have 36 less than you, which is 18 days (considering 2 are pulled everytime), if that's the case them 18 days and all of mine SHOULD be gone.

Now all those inquiries are they HARD/SOFT/PRM or did you just count the EQU ones?

Mine is stuck at 72 inquiries. But I think that they gave me the shaft because on friday, I only had like 2 hard and no inquiries hard or soft earlier than april of this year. Then I pulled my report on saturday and they kept the same amount of inquiries except they put back all of the hard ones since january of 2001. The score went from 624 down to 536. This has to be a lawsuit eligible violation! Well, at least I hope it is. :)

I started with 6 hard inquiries.....my score only changed up 12 points went it went from 4 hards to 3 hards.

All the EU/AR/PRM/DTC are softs and do not get deleted.

The hards are the ones without it.

Only 12 pts for 1 inquiry? That is a pretty good increase for just 1 inquiry.
