We got the MRI report and they confirmed it is NOT a tumor..but a cyst. They won't know if it's benign or malignant until they do surgery, but 90% are benign so we are hoping for the best there and I think it will be ok. The cyst is causing alot of compression on the brain and the cranial nerves are displaced so we should be looking at a fairly quick surgery date (per the pediatrician)...still awaiting the neurosurgeon's office to call tomorrow to confirm the appointment. Thanks for your prayers having surgery and spending 5-8 days in the hospital is much better compared to the alternatives (chemo/radiation). I'll post as I know more and I do believe in prayer...
