I finally got it!!!! Citibank approved my 999th application for credit and gave me a $4,800 cl! My first real card that I didn't start out at a limit of $1,000 or $1,500! Thank you Creditnet and all of you awesome creditnetters!!!!

On a side note...my scheduling meeting was adjourned for 30 days while we "are in the process of settling this action". I'll email those of you whom I have spoken with privately about giving a deposition when I know more. :)

What card is it and what terms you've got?

I don't remember exactly, but it must have been between 8 and 12 times. Each time I applied I tried to do the bdd, so that's twice each time I applied. They pulled Equifax and my score was 682. I'm in New York.

Hang in there! You'll get it. I was really thinking they would NEVER approve me because I've seen others posting that they were approved in the low 600's and I couldn't get approved when I was at 672. I guess 680 really is the magic number.

As a side note...when I dropped down to two inquiries on Equifax, my score went from 657 to 682. When I had two more inquiries, it dropped back to 657. Wow!!!!

Platinum, I got the AAdvantage card and I'm not sure of the terms. They did tell me they don't offer fixed rates right now on this type of account.

    Congrats Whyspers!!!!!!!!!!

Do a search for the "301" phone number, negotiate better terms (regardless of the terms they give you), ask for a CL increase BEFORE you activate the card, tell them you were thinking of BT some of your "other" cards.
