Has anyone had any luck with getting Target to increase their Visa cl. When I can they say they can't make a manual request, they are all computer generated?
My husband called over the weekend and they increased his from $500 to $1,000 and lowered his apr from 18.9 to 15.9. He's had the card for six months. They told him he could call back in six months or the computer would automatically give an increase if he qualified in six months. I then got on the phone after having had the card for two months and while they lowered my apr to the 15.9, they could not increase my credit limit. I heard the "computer generated" excuse as well. L
My cl was increase from 6k to 6.9k. The increase came automatically after the closing of my 6th billing cycle. I called cs at the end of my 7th billing cycle and requested a APR reduction and that was granted. Best regards, Mirage
my starting cl was 6k. My score at the of application was in the 640-650 range, this was in Oct/2001. Also this is with a bk-13 (filed in 96') on file. It is my belief that Target Visa has raise the bar on their criteria for approval and starting cl. Best regards, Mirage
