Re: Why so nice? I do understand what you are saying and I agree. However, I am already in the process of settling one lawsuit and have 2 just filed. It is costly and I do not have the money right now. I also am trying to get a mortgage loan, raising 3 kids and working at home. One of my two lawsuits involve flying to NC. I quite frankly just don't have the energy.
Re: Thinking out loud, lol SUE HIM!!! Not in small claims. He is a lawyer, so if he goes to small claims he'll know what to do. File complaints with everyone that youcan. The AG, the state bar association, EVERYONE!!! Then he'll have to pay your lawyer's fees. At the very lekast, have him pay for the $135 he placed on your account, your lawyer's fees and for damages. Just one derogatory brings your score down 29 points(myFico.com). One point can cost you more than 1% in interest. He'll be so sorry he ever messed with you(not to mention trying to fend of the Bar Association) he'll do whatever it takes to clear up the mess he created. Don't pay him sh*t.
