    No absoutely not.

Send them ONLY the account number as listed on your report...send it to the address as listed on your report...send them NOTHING else.

"Mr. CA, please prove that account "XXXX" as you have listed on my Eq/Tu/Ex report belongs to me"

I have sent validation letters without the account #. Make them do all the work. They have the info on you, and they have 30 days to validate. If not, they must delete. Like OJ they must acquit. Charlie

Here is my dilema. I had the oringinal Creditor Deleted from equa and exp. It still remains on TU. the CA checked my TU report. and then Added a collection to my equa and exp. They list There collection number with the Oringinal Creditor. they dont list the OC account number???

A validation of debt letter kinda like one in the Sample Letter section. If they don't respond then an Estoppel letter. Charlie

Right, don't put in an account #. They have your name and can cross reference your name and account. Why would you want to help them do THEIR JOB. You are trying to get an account deleted or changed for your benefit. If it's an account that you want changed from a R9 to a R5 then you may want to help them get it changed, but if you want to get it deleted DON'T HELP THEM. ;) Charlie

You need to read the FAQ or Newbie ?'s. Also, never sign the letters. Their are some CA's that will cut and paste your sig on a contract. I just used R9 to R5 as an example. It could be "paid as agreed" or something else. Charlie

Most don't properly validate. Read the FAQ and the old threads. Charlie
