I have to cut and paste it on a spereadsheet...so I can get a count...(DON'T DO IT VERY OFTEN)

Not on Fair Isaac's score screen, but on your EFX's credit report screen.

I lost 11 softs last night. I had been losing 1 hard every other day (or 4 softs on my part via creditwatch) so I'm down to 1 hard.

For all of those who have lost hard inquiries, how many of you check your credit every day or nearly every day?

Do a search here for "equifax inquiry deletions". It has been detailed several times. If you pull your reports every day, once you hit an unknown # of inquiries, they will start dropping off when they hit 45 days.

Once you become an addict...it is like 6 times a day, even though you know it only counts for 1 pull that day.

I just pulled my 2 for the day from CreditWatch and my last hard fell off. Funny thing is my score jumped 3 points. I thought you were supposed to have at least 1 hard inq?

My report seems to be holding steady at 176 inquiries total. (Of that, I have 3 hard inquiries.) Today, when I pulled my report two soft inquiries dropped off:

    03/06/2002 Equifax Consumer Services Incq
    03/01/2002 Equifax Consumer Services Incq

These are a bit less than 4 months old, for what that's worth. I'm going to continue to keep a close watch on this. For whatever reason, I don't fit LKH's idea that after you hit a certain number your inquiries fall off at 45 days -- that's true for him, but unfortunately I'm proof that this can't be generalized to everyone (although I wish it were true).
