Anyway to get a judgement that I settled off of my CR?

I would say dispute some aspect of the judgement. Like never had a judgement in 1998 or you could remove your previous address from your credit report (the one attached to the judgement) they cra must verify your name, address and ss# against public info. If they don't get all three they can't verify and would have to delete. I say start with the address get that removed and then dispute on a technicality and see what happens.

    Robin,
How do you get a judgement that shows your name and current address, I would pay it but it is 10 grand. Any ideas

Just a quick clarification - they only have to verify two out of the three identifying pieces mentioned, and social security numbers rarely show up on judgements.

i have gotten unpaid judgements removed simply by disputing... I would try this first.

second, make sure you have a copy of the court file on the judgement and compare it to credit report. there is gonna be something to dispute, almost always.

I had three judgements showing on ally three report (nine total) now, tu.. no records show at all, I still have some work to do on the others but they each show at least one deletion. I would definitely try these during CHOD
