Re: Bumpage tragedy: my file was sp ACK ACK ACK... a few minutes ago, I posted my score from Friday -- 769. It's Saturday morning, and my score is now 750. I see nothing different between yesterday's report and today's. I am angry. Doc
Re: Bumpage tragedy: my file was sp A final update. I just noticed that Chase updated their balance -- it's a $5500 balance -- we bought some furniture a few weeks ago. That probably accounts for the difference between 769 and 750. As for the difference between 787 and 769, though, I'm convinced that's due to the split file problem. More Monday. Doc
Re: Bumpage tragedy: my file was sp I'm still REAL confused as to the relationship between EQ and CSC. About 10 days ago, I was blocked from accessing my CR on EQ online. After several calls assuring me that it had been taken care of and I'd be able to access it again - and still not being able to - EQ told me the problem was that CSC had it blocked and I'd have to call them to get it straightened out. They seemed confused as to why it was blocked. I could NEVER get through to a live voice at CSC, and then got distracted with school starting and all that. I tried again to call CSC today and still couldn't get through, so thought I'd just try EQ online again. Got my report with no problem at all today - not blocked or anything. Weird cruisermom
Re: Bumpage tragedy: my file was sp Doc, did you call today to see about your split file? Were you able to have it combined again? And most importantly, did your score go up when those older accts were readded to your credit mix?
Re: Bumpage tragedy: my file was sp Damn Doc! You have some great scores there. I'm right where you are, minus a 100 or so points (around 680). Could you spare a few FICO points to a up-and-coming credit warrior?
