I have a judgement that won't fall off until 2004....If I pay it, will it help my credit score? It's about $550 ......thanks

Nope, having it listed as 'satisfied' won't help your score a bit, but it'll look a little better to potential lenders.

It won't change it at all? I have a judgement that shows unpaid, but it was actually paid in 1997. I'm hoping to get it deleted, but at the very least updated to paid. I was hoping that since it's actually been paid for so long, that my score might go up a little. It's my last derog on EXP. I'm sending out a proc. request to exp today (a waste of time, I know) and since they've verified unpaid twice, I added a paragraph that it should be deleted as they have reported it incorrectly. I doubt it will work, but it should get updated at least!! They have 21 days to delete!!!
