    Unfortunately, ttowns it is not an invasion of privacy. It is a public message board. It is sad that people stoop to some levels, but it's not illegal. Fortunately, the CAs and OCs haven't gathered too much wisdom off this board, otherwise they may actually learn to validate. ;)

    Exactly! Takes a minute to do on LEXIS. Much less time than it would take searching posts on creditnet that dont even have the poster's real name listed :)

    They also could have just pulled a CR and called the other listed CA's.

    I'm with Lizardking on this one. Who cares?
    There is nothing I say here that I would not say in front of a judge or not want a jury to hear about...lol.

    Good, I hope they learn something here... to follow the law and then they won't get sued.

    I welcome any real collectors that want to learn the law in order to do their job without violating our rights. I dispise any "trolls" that come here to sow fear and mistrust.

    It has been mentioned that the PO BOX number is a real "SPECIAL" one for a lawsuit...

    IT IS IMMEDIATELY ROUTED TO THE "SPECIAL" DIVISON IN RECEIVING THAT HAS THAT SPECIAL FIRE DOOR THAT SAYS "PLEASE PUSH THE BUTTON BEFORE WALKING AWAY"

    That just shows the potential strength of the folks on this Board.

    I BET Providian had a a few boardroom discussions when 500 complaints a day were beiong passed among the net community.

    Look how strong we are - and thanks to PBM for allowing us to continue to have this site :)

    Re: Pardon my paranoia

    I was referring to them calling Providian. They had no right to do that. Not as if it has any bearing on the case. I tried to work things out with IC Systems and NCO today, to no avail. Oh well, the more embarrassment for them come the 6th. I have all of my ducks in a row. I had to cuss IC's lawyer out. She told me she was losing patience with me because I was late for court and it was dismissed. My son was sick, she can kiss my ass. But I have enough hard evidence on them to prove negligence and willful violations. Not to mention damages. I woul dhave settled for $3000 today, but now the judge can award me the $5000 I was looking for. I ws going to settle all of my NCO problems for $4500 today as well(there is still a Marlin account on my files), but their representative just doesn't know what I have on them. Oh well. More steam for my CA ass-kicking machine.

    By the way, I am NOT scared. I am not the one operating illegally.

    ADD THIS---->"WILLFUL NON~COMPLIANCE"
    Sounds more "LITIGIOUS" than "WILLFUL VIOLATIONS"

    You're right. I am seeing red right now. The IC system's lawyer made me snap. You do NOT play around about my son. I couldn't even think straight when I was writing that post. Sometimes I get so angry I can't even remember my own name!:)

    Re: Pardon my paranoia

    I agree with whyspers and Lizardking. Who cares? By the time anyone mentions a CA's name on the board they have already committed violations and are hung. ttowns is going to make more money on yet another stupid blunder made by a CA. The CA's can't stop being stupid!!! As much as people talk about RMA, NCO, IC Systems, etc. the amount of lawsuits are going up not down, and people are making more money on the lawsuits. Let em watch and maybe even learn something. Charlie
