I just got approved online for the Sony Citbank card. I am so excited. This is my 1st prime card in over 5 years. I owe so much of it to the board. Alot of it was just reading what other people wrote just to get the confidence to start the repair process. My interest rate is 9.74 variable. No annual fee. $1700.00 credit limit. Not the best limit, but really was not about the limit. It was more about the fact on whether I would be approved or not.
congratulations! I know you were really concerned about what you could get. One question, you said it was your first prime card in 5 years. What were your sub-prime cards?
Congrats! Thanks to this board my wallet is now full with prime cards. Amex, Citibank, Chase, MBNA, Capital One, and hopefully Bank of America if I'm approved. It will only get better!
Thanks to everyone. My sub prime cards were a Providian Mastercard with 1800.00 limit and Visa with 5000.00 limit. They have been cancelled for a couple of months now. I also had Mastercard. One of those kind where the limit is 300.00, but to get you pay 200.00 in fees. I don't know how I fell for that one. Desperate, I guess. I think it could have been Orchard or sold to Orchard or something. Thanks again to everyone.
