I just logged onto creditexpert and no we still cannot get at our reports. So I look at my points and I noticed I gained 1 point. So I look to the left and instead of 8 inq. showing I see 7, so that means 1 was deleted because none were expected to fall off and all I got was one point. I did not even get any first of the month points.

    alas just venting

Better then me... I had 4 last night, now I only have 1 and my score only went up 1 point.
3 inqs. gone for a whole point gain!

It like I took a 5pt hit for that inq. probably and then when you get it back you get 1, so it is like you lost 4 still. And if you got 3 deleted and say it cost you 12 pts and you got one back then it still cost you 11 pts.

btw... when i called credit expert... they said inquiries only affect their scoring model for 6 mos, after that they do not affect it

yes Allen, that's what they say, but I gained points when I had 5 inquiries deleted, all 1 yr or older. Granted, not a ton of points, but points none the less.

Just checked CE and there was no deletion it just fell out of the 6 month window. I will still take the point and hope that once these get deleted (doc trick) I will have some serious point moveage.

Are you all saying that since this is the 1st., albeit a holiday weekend, that we should now be checking for monthly CRA updates???

As far as I'm concerned, if they don't affect it, then why bother keeping them around for the extra 18 months? keep em on for 6 months, and get rid of them!!

JUST GUESSING~~~the companies that PAY to put the inquires on your credit report, MAY ask for a REFUND if it won't stay past 6 months...

THEY KNOW THAT THE INQUIRES CAUSE A "HIT" ON YOUR F.I.C.O. SCORE, SO THEY CAN CHARGE HIGHER FEES AND/OR INTEREST!!!

MY NEW RULES----->IF YOU ARE DENIED...INSTANT REMOVAL OF THE INQUIRY...IF APPROVED...INQUIRY WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE ACCOUNT SHOWS UP!!!

I would wait until Tuesday evening to see the effect of inquiries removals. This is a holiday weekend and the effects good or bad of changes to the credit file may take 1 or 2 work days to show up. I don't have first hand experience with this but the friend who introduced me to creditnet told me this.

I am doing my own LDHD. My investigations are all due to be completed tomorrow. I will let you know if they went bye bye. I imagine they will, as they were all pending yesterday.
