Disputing hard inquiries

    How can you dispute hard inquries with the CRAs? I did the Trick with CreditExpert but I would like to dispute the inquiries with the other bureaus

    All three CRAs claim that it is illegal to remove any inquiry therefore they will not allow us to dispute them.

    The best you can do is try to get money from the companies that pulled your CR.

    Equifax will not dispute inquiries under any circumstances.

    TransUnion and Experian do accept inquiry disputes. With TU you can do it with the regular customer service reps or online.

    With Experian, call and talk with the fraud department, they are the only ones that can place an inquiry in dispute.

    Tu and experian refuse to even investigate them for me. Equifax just bumps. I am gonna have to use small claims to get the bogus ones removed unfortunately.
