I was just surfing and came across www.naca.net. which stands for the national association of consumer advocates. anyhow, you can browse their member list and it will tell you if they are experienced in fdcpa representation, medical or student loan collections. I was able to send emails to a couple of atty's in Chicago to see if they handled specific types of cases. might help some of you who want some consultation or who decide to go federal with some cra or ca lawsuits.

Another good way to do it is to take a look at the big cases we've read about and contact those attornies...lol. I started making a list from Lexis cases, but then my computer crashed so I only have a few.

yes, Davis Swak or something... but this site lets you search for consumer lawyers in your area. It also list the kind of consumer law they have experience dealing with, and gives email and phone numbers for them.

I thought it might help when someone is looking for an atty in say, Idaho, to have some place to look and see.
