    Hi
I have been back and forth withthis stupid CA. They actually did validate the debt enough that I feel I should pay it. They have been sending me generic looking settlement offers about every three weeks Both times I countered with a typed letter stating I want a deletion in exchange for taking their settlement offer of 50%. In my last letter I indicated I wanted to resolve this by Sept 20. I was ready to send $$ as soon as I heard from them on the condition they would delete. I have heard nothing. I hesitate to call them on the phone. Should I wait till Sept 20 ? I can't seem to get a name to a higher up at this CA. to bitch to. I am willing and ready to pay but I KNOW unless I get something in writing this probably will never even get updated to the CRA no matter how I resolve it. I'm not forking over $$ till I hear from them...now if I can just get them to respond. Any clues to get their attetion? I just want them off my reports

try search www.bbb.com (i think) the better business bureau site, to find a higher up to deal with ( like president or exec.vp) if that doesn't work try. www.aca.org. That is the collectors websit, you may find a name there. or do a simple google search. My guess is you won't get the answer you are looking for from a regular rep. or supervisor!

    Hi
Thanks a bunch ! Can you believe they don't list the Presidents name on the bbb or thier website (I had already looked there..) but I was able find it here
    http://www.acainternational.org/default.aspx?sid=1&cookietest=1

The other website you listed is for the American correction association..lol now this does need "correction" on my credit reports but not in that way..heheheh :)

    Thanks
    Jamie
