Has anyone here had a judgement for child support arrearage? We paid off on on the last 15 years but due to job changes and not being willing to continually go to court to change it, he fell behind on it. There is a $5,000 judgement from 1999 showing up on his CR and it should be fully satisfied by the end of this year. How do we get it removed once it's satisfied?? When our attorney files the paperwork to stop the payments is there a way to get it removed then?? Really clueless about this!! Thanks!
Child support agencies are notoriously bad at keeping ACCURATE records. I would DISPUTE this, expecially if anything is inaccurate on the report. If that doesn't work. Maybe you can make an arrangement with the agency and have the judgement vacated.
