I would like to apply for a home depot card, but cannot take another hit on TU. I'm trying to search millcbs.com, but it's down right now. I've read all the old posts, and from what I gather, they've pulled any of the 3 at some point. Does anyone have one in the N. England area? I read about them being affiliated w/ Citi soon? If that has happened, citi hit me w/ 2 TU inquiries already this month. I have 12 TU hards, and almost none on the other 2. Seems TU must be big in Maine!

Just so ya'll are aware....I am doing a home project and spending a lot of money at Home Depot. They then invited me to fill out one of their credit apps. As I was starting to fill it out, the lady mentioned 21.9% APR standard rate for everyone with their card. I dropped the pen and said NO THANKS! then put it on my new Citi Bank card :)

THEY DIDN'T OFFER YOU 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE AND 0.00% FOR 6 MONTHS???

    George,

Yes they did....but after the 6 months they go to 21.9 and if for some reason I can't pay the total balance in 6 months, I didn't want to be "stuck" with that. I'm also thinking that after the 6 months, if I keep charging on the card, it will be the 21.9, right?

If you can't PAY IN FULL in 6 months or BT IT AWAY...and the 10% OFF doesn't help enough...then I guess you are better off...
