Was just contacted by Inside Edition and PFB. Inside Edition is doing a story on PFB in November and I got picked to be a consumer interviewed and will probably be on air.

They were interested in the PFB's I sent to Cap 1... so I will be praising Mr. Cooke on national TV if they actually come through with what they said.

So I hope we can give some positive payback to Mr Cooke :)

I will post once I've had the interview and when the airing will be. It won't be until November from my understanding....

MartiG4 - I also had an email from PFB regarding my complaints and a possible interview with Inside Edition. Coincidently, one of my complaints was about CapitalOne and I must admit that Mr. Cooke was not so nice to me. However, I received a second email just like the first regarding a complaint I had to Verizon. If I were to be interviewed, I would talk about that. I'm not the most photogenic person in the world however, so I probably wouldn't make the grade. I wish you luck.

Well, do not get excited to fast. I got the same letter....This is just a form letter. I imagine that it was sent to most and then they narrow it down. I would NEVER announce to the Internet that I was going to be on the show BTW..Although it would be great. you like me I am sure, have given a ton of personal info on the Internet. The last thing I would need is for me to be shown on TV with my name under my face. LOL

Right, I got the email, but I was also CALLED by the producer and told I would be on the show.

The interview is supposed to be in the next two weeks.

jsever - I reread your photogenic comment several times.

I - personally - am interested in a person because of their STYLE - not their looks.

How many times do you see beautiful people, but are not particularly turned on? But then, you see someone who has average looks but incredible overall STYLE - that's barking hot to the Dogman.

FYI - jsever - I can tell you have style from the way you snap emails.

Please don't mention Creditnet on Inside Edition! Could you just imagine how many people would be signing up? Think of all the newbie questions, now!!! Charlie

not worried about newbies. i'm worried about those who we fight in the first place, actually spending the time, effort, and money to disrupt this board. They're not organized enough right now, but given enough nat'l exposure, i can promise they'll come with all their might.
All great "revolution" movements start small and grow by word of mouth.

Dogman - "you're too kind". I've actually said that more than once this week! I like that phrase. Anyway, I understand what you are saying and have experienced it myself. We appreciate hidden beauty more and more as we get older.

I agree about not announcing credit net on the television. I don't think we should bring unwanted attention here. Just my opinion.

I'm not planning to mention Creditnet in the interview.

I'm simply going to say something like:

I PFB'd Cap 1... heard from Mr Eugene Cooke, he took care of what I asked for. This was after I tried Cap 1 customer service and they gave me an answer I couldn't accept.

I'm not going to mention that I knew anything about Mr Cooke before writing the PFB or about Creditnet.

My issues were about account upgrades and being denied platinum ONLY because I didn't ask for a BT with the app.

Even though this is a public forum, I don't think we want to draw significant new attention to ourselves.
