my experian score was reduced by 15 points even though my bankruptcy was deleted, 2 old collection accounts were paid off, those were the only bad items on my and i also paid off some of credit cards to a lower balance!!!! how can that be possible???
I betcha that BK was old and helping your score. Yes, I said helping because of the age. If you search for posts by George, you will see that he has named scoring a 'random number generator'. Sorry about the drop, but think of it like this, at least it is gone.......
Had the same problem with TU: Start = 612. Delete 3 = 595. Delete 3 more = 595. Delete 3 more = 618. Delete 5 more = don't know yet. Report's in the mail. Removal of the last derog could mean a 70-100 point jump for you. Don't give up!
