I've been denied left and right because of late payments last year and an old Fingerhut acct I cannot get rid of. Every time I apply online for anything, they say "Processing your credit card request. We'll mail you a letter within 7-10 days." It's happened like 5 times this year. Since I've been cleaning up my credit, I've been getting credit card offers from Conn's (dept store) and Household Bank. I was like, what the hell, and applied for Household. They said they would process it and I can call back within a few days. I called back within 2 days, and they said I was approved for $300 (18.9%). I was shocked because I haven't gotten an unsecured card in a loooong time. I already got the card. I then decided to apply for Zales store and I got an online approval for $600! This is the first ever I've gotten approved online. Its through citibank. Finally, after a yearlong journey of cleaning credit. Janet TU 599 EXP 580 EQ 629

Congrats! Just a little over a year ago I thought a $500 approval was great. Since joining Creditnet and improving my reports I'm getting limits more in the $5000 range now. Keep up the good work and you'll get higher limits and better terms.
