    Hi,

In my experian report, i'e got a citibank account that was paid and closed in February of 02. It is still being reported as 180+ days late collection account. I've used the experian's credit manager to verified the account, and it came back as verified. What should i do now? I've got all the evidence stating that the account has been paid off. Looks like experian didn't really go out and verifly it. Do i write to experian asking how they verified? Do i sue now? I felt like i caught them lying right on the track.

    Thanks!

Don't send them evidence that the account is yours. Send them a procedural request letter. They may just delete since this would catch them red handed.

    Just what I think.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. What is a procedural request letter? Do you have examples of it so i could use it to draft my own version.

    Thanks!
