Im about to attempt a PFB for a goodwill adjustment with providian.
Im curious which option I should pick for
"What do you want to write about"
should I just choose 'email customer service' ?

I want to be sure I do this right and dont get it to the wrong person

    Mark-
I think no matter what you pick it will end up with Franklin Rush (Rash?). Regardless I don't think anyone has had luck with a goodwill and Providian. It's worth a shot though

it says it is going to the CEO hehe
I feel sorry for the guy you mentioned who has to handle all those complaints/questions/etc.

    thanks

Franklin doesn't handle them, he tosses most of them in the barrel. I think he picks the ones that are the least abrasive.

There is another chick, Lydia, who occasionally handles the PFB's she's really nice. Franklin sounds like he has a mouth full of mashed potatoes.

    ok thanks
it is a legit late payment remark. figure I'd just tell it like it is and see what they say.
i never told them at the time so i wouldnt doubt if it gets ignored.

anyone know how they might reply?
    email? snail-mail?
or how long it might take?

Our PFB to them was spectacularly unsuccessful, but they did respond via snail mail and via phone.

    They just didn't DO anything.

(Of course that was before the "kinder, gentler, Providian" of late.) LOL

I used PFB with Providian about a month ago. They didn't do anything for me either. I wanted my card switched from secured to unsecured and my limits raised. I have paid on time for over a year now and they won't do anything.

To add insult to injury, I just received a letter stating that they are increasing my rate to 28.99%!!!!! That's what I get for being a good customer? What do I get for being bad?

I'm calling to talk to Providian, trying to get a hold of a Debbie Roberts x5409 (Debbie didn't give me the phone #!). The CSR can't find her in the company directory. I have asked to talk to someone in retention. She has argued with me for several minutes. I have asked 3 times now. She has put me on hold for about 10 minutes. I have been diconntected! Imagine that.

    Providian sucks.
