    Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie and recently just found out about this board, I'm so excited to get started in repairing my credit.

    Here's a question:
I ordered my 3 CR's from the 3 CRA's via phone they should be here within the next couple of days
(I get them free once a year for being a MA resident)

But I also tried to view my credit report online w/TU and went through the steps and answered the questions. It came to a point where it asked me about loans, tax liens etc.. I didn't answer the questions because I know from last years report
there was info about my fathers credit some how on my report. I also didn't bother to clear this up last year. So I clicked next and it told me I was blocked... I tried doing it again today and it still says I'm blocked...

Has this happend to anyone before?

Thx everyone, I think I found a new home here :)

happens all the time. You HAVE to answer the questions, and if you get ONE wrong, you're blocked. Usually for 6 days. Wait a week, and try again. Sorry.

And they get really tricky with the questions sometimes. Like asking for the credit limit on a Sears account opened May 1990. The correct answer was in the list. We picked it.

Only one problem, the account was actually opened in April 1990. The answer should have been "none of the above."

They're sneaky! Read those questions carefully and compare with an existing TU report if you have one.

I sure do wish they'd offer a paid service like Credit Watch or Creditexpert. I know there are lots of folks who would jump on that if it was available.

I've noticed that they recycle the questions though. If you do it enough, it's the same accounts every time. I don't even look at the reports anymore, because I know the 2 accounts they almost always use, I check the month/year. One of these days, they're really gonna get me! LOL

I used to have this problem. I think that my "blockage" was due to the name of my street. The post office has my address as Road. My street sign says Drive at one end and Court on the other. Ever since I have been leaving it blank I have not had a problem.

You may want to try this too... a friend of mine said he deleted all of his cookies and temp internet files and after answering the TU questions correctly it let him in without waiting the 6 days. I don't know for sure that thisw works but if you don't want to wait the week you could try it. I'd like to know if it does indeed work.

I had the same problem and I answered all my questions correctly so TU must have some wrong info. The asked me about a morgage and I've never had one. Go figure.

They have 3 sections. One of them is a mortgage section. It's the same for EVERYONE. If you've never had a mortage, check the one that says it doesn't apply to you. That's the only way you'll be able to get your report online.
