For some unexplained reason Equifax deleted 6 good accounts off my credit report. I am wondering what this is going to do to my score? I now have more bad accounts listed than good. I have heard that Equifax is not very responsive to requests that deleted good accounts be re-reported.
Had you disputed them?? Even if they are good accounts, and you dispute a late or something, they will be deleted if the OC or CA doesn't respond in the 30 days--just like it would w/ a neg TL. Try to give them a call. Good luck
I didn't dispute a single good account. They just mysteriously disappeared. I will have to call EQ and or contact the OCs to have the accounts reported again. It seems like this deleteing of good accounts thing is something that CRAs do on a regular basis.
Seems like a quite few people have been reporting this problem w/ EQ lately. Wonder what's going on...
I posted last week about this, it's because of a file that is too large according to EQ. Too many accounts and too much pulling of report. They are deleting old closed accounts to trim the files down. I took a 36 point hit, my credit history went from 20+ years to 7 in one day. mark
I just last week got notified by credit watch that one of my good accounts was disupted when I didn't dispute it... I'll just wait and see what happens with it before I complain. It's wierd that they do that though...
I find it hard to believe that anyone is worse than TU in re-reporting. I have had no luck what so ever with Don Richman. I accidently emailed him a funny email. He was PISSED! I thought about telling him that I was going to send him one a day until he re-inserted the tradeline. Charlie
