    Good article charlie, I'm passing it along to some others I know.

    It's what I've been gathering for some time now from reading this and other credit boards. I don't think anyone should be surprised considering how bad things are getting and have been.

    It doesn't matter how good we pay or use these types of cards, they still bunch us together as high risk, won't give us a break on fees, rates, etc. and we have to hope they even keep our accounts open! *sigh*

    It's what I've been telling people on the board for a while. People who a couple of months ago were getting say a Target Visa with 620 are getting turned down for the Guest card. I have a friend that was complaining that their Cap 1 interest rate doubled for no reason, and come to find out they went over the limit. The CC companies are hoping and praying for any little mistake by the comsumer to "sink the hook". Charlie

    It looks like we've come full circle. Some of you may recall that back in the 80's especially 80 & 81 it was tough to get credit. Then in the late 80's and 90's it was just sign your life away. Looks like tight times are here for a bit.
