does it mean anything? my wifes fico is over 700, but her experian is 607. what score is experian using?
They use their own scoring, which is pretty worthless. Except one thing, you can have a general idea of what you do helps or hinders your score. Although even that is not completely accurate. Using the score to try to guess your real fico is a complete waste of time. Using it to gauge the trend of your score is OK.
Whether or not the EX score means anything is pretty much dependent upon whether EX is the CRA a creditor pulls, or whether you're getting a mortgage and the lender uses your middle score. If you mean is the score you get on creditexpert generally the same as as the score a lender sees, it's hard to know. One of ours is right on the money. On the other, the creditexpert score is 50-60 higher than the actual score the creditor sees. DemPooches
I agree totally with what you said. I never have been able to understand people that say the TU and EX score don't mean anything. Tell that to a CSR with a CC company that pulls TU or EX. TU's score is by far my worst and the CC's that I really want pull TU. In my opinion, each CRA's score means alot. Charlie
