Ive been reading the boards for about 4 months now and have learned alot. Let me just rum down my success thus far. on Transunion- 1-one OC account deleted, they never responded. on equifax- 1- one postive closed account deleted (I disputed as neverlate, I wasen't, account was 12 yrsold they deleted) 2-two collection account deleted(never validated) I have my experian report but I'm waiting to work on that later. I have several (3) settlement nogations and disputes going on know that I hope to clear up soon. Anyway w/equifax (my highest score) dropped 60 points with the three deletions, its okay i know why. Besides I'm in this for the long haul. Wishing to purchase a house in 3 years.
I would fight to get the 12 year old positive acc. reinstated. That cost you a lot of points. Good job and welcome to the board! I'm glad to see someone with patience in reading and lurking instead of asking ?'s that have been answered 100's of times. Charlie
