hello credit hounds. This site rocks. Anybody know what CCs in NYC only check Experian or where I can find this info? I recently raised Experian scoreto 734 (6 mos ago it was morelike 500 but Thx to this site and www.creditinfocenter.com got like 8 negs removed. Patience, diligence and hard work. Stick with it.). My Equifax is only 633 and TU even less. Any suggestions? Gracias Amigos.
It is accurate to a point. You can have over 700 like you have now but if you have like a dozen inquiries or a high cc balance chances are good you will be turned down no matter what your score is(I speak through experience). Watch capital one though because they pull all 3 reports on me.
It's not perfect, because the CC companies change the CRA's every once in a while. It's a crapshoot but fairly accurate. Charlie

Wells Fargo is supposed to be a really good card with online management and benefits (high ratings/reviews on E-pinions etc.) . Mr. T...thanks for the info. I've never applied at Wells Fargo because I have heard they are really conservative and I am carrying high balances on my cards. All of these places only pulled Experian for me. The only one that I know of that pulls all three on a regular basis is Capital One. Hope this helps! L
Re: CC in NY that only checks Exper Ok- thanks. State farm looks like a good option. I might also try for the CitiSmart card. Amex may be too tough. Anybody else out there from NY who can verify cards that ONLY pull Experian (or only did in their case) would be helpful. Viva la interneta.
