I've disputed five accounts, all of which have sent letters stating they will remove the tradelines from my CRs.

It's been over 65 days and nothing has happened. How long do they have to remove? The CAs say it's the CRAs. I don't know who it is?

What can I do with the CRAs to speed it up?

Cra's will take anywhere from 30 - 90 days to delete a nondisputed item. If you have the letters stating the accts are to be deleted, fax them to the cra's. It should be off by Friday if you do it tomorrow.

If they don't remove do I have any recourse?

    Recoursees:

I have complaining to the atty general of your state sometimes helps. What really gets them moving is a lawyer!

I suggest Prepaid legal services. It costs $16 a month to keep them on retainer, and they will write a letter for free.

Chances are they will remove them without any problems. Don't worry about it and don't look for problems that most likely won't be there. If you find that they won't remove them, then post that at the time. You should be celebrating not worrying about what if's.

Also, if that happens I'm not sure how to respond until we know why they wouldn't delete them.
