I called Experian a few minutes ago to dispute some personal info mistakes and 2 "associated" SSN's. This very nice lady answered and kept telling me as we went along these mistakes and wrong info, I'm deleting this...I'm deleting that. At the end of the conversation I asked her if she had a confirmation number for me and she said, no. Is it this easy or were they just pulling my leg?
Sounds like the same lady I spoke to. She didn't delete everything she said she would. In fact she added another address.
You only get a confirmation if they are doing an investigation, I believe. I've had that happen at EXP. Do you have CE? I do, and after I called them to make some personal info changes, I went on CE and they were already on there. They can be nice SOMETIMES lol
Now that CE only lets new subscribers pull only 4 reports a year I would definitely tell you to save your money. Every time you want a report, dispute a different account for a different reason. You will get a free report. I am going to steer people away from CE every chance I get. Unless you like putting money in the pockets of the devil, forget about CE.
I thought that it was cw- creditwatch (creditwatch)that had the limit, as far as i know you can still get unlimited on ce-credit expert (experian). I also like that ce bills you cc at $7.99 a month instead of at one time!
Actually CE still allows unlimited reports. It is CW (CreditWatch) from Equifax that just changed to only 4 reports per year (glad I just renewed a couple of weeks ago). Kirk
They give you a "score" everytime you login, but it isn't a true FICO. It's kind of their version of the TU FAKO, but in my experience it has been more accurate than TU. Kirk
