Hello All I think I'm might be near the end of my credit woes, but it seems this is the part that i'm having the most difficulty with. Here's the background Equifax Cap 1 1x 30 days late Sears (1) 2x 30 1x 90 days late Sears (2) now MC 1x 30 days late Experian Sears(1) 2x 30 days late Sears(2) now MC 5x 30 3x 60 2x 90 days late TU Sears (2) now MC 1x 30 days late Dillards 1x 90 2x 60 Cap 1 1x 30 days late These accounts are all curent in fact the lates that I had with Dilllards and Sears all happened back in 96 and 97, Cap 1 was in 2000. The problem is that I was going to send Sears a goodwill letter to try and have them remove the old late pays since they are several years old (zero balance on the both) and I have not been late since then and send the nutcase letter to Dillards and Cap1 (Both of which have been paid and closed) If I do this then what do I do about CHOD? Should I send in the goodwill and nutcase or just go through with CHOD and then send the other letters after I get my resutls back, or do both at the same time? I have already come a long way with disputing directly with CRA's but these last items just keep getting verified. Thanks in advance Opti
From what I have read on the board Sears will not remove lates. I would try CHODing them first. If that fails then try the goodwill.
