Check this guys if we set a receive date of 11/25 - 11/29 that there 30 dyas is up on 12/25 which is Xmas so that means they would have to have the dispute done prior to that. So now they are stuck plus minus 2 days and that is if they only take Turkey day and Xmas. Lots of people take day after turkey and Day before and after Xmas. So now that is negative 5 days added on top. But maybesome of you are right about the 11/29 receive date. Who knows, think i will do one set for 11/25 and one for 11/29

How about...the smaller items (if there is such a thing) going out 11/25 and the mroe serious items going 11/29. This way they will be flooded from the initial group when the others come in. Any thoughts?

What I meant to say is I am sending my first set of disputes to all three tomorrow and my most important disputes on the 29th. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

I wouldn't send more than one set of disputes to TU. You may find your disputes will be extended 15 days, giving them all that extra time to verify.

Just wondering how it is that TU is able to interpret the law differently than just about everyone else and still get away with it. I have several disputes with TU and sent them updated info on only one of them and it appears, based on the letter I received, that they are attempting to take an additional 15 days for all of them.

I don't know how they interpret the laws, or if they feel they can just make their own rules (ie: not noting in dispute) But it's common knowledge that if you dispute more than once in 30 days, they'll extend the dispute time. I can't complain about TU though, because they were my easiest report to clean up for both of us. I'm one of the only ones, I think.
