Can anyone provide more info on Millcbs..

how many of you actually post to the system to keep it accurate?

Just put in a rejection by EXPERIAN, and was wondering if "we" all take our time to actually keep it accurate.

Can this post also be considered a request to all those that post here to post any potentially beneficial info onto millcbs.com

    Thanks all!

(ya'know, those idiots at the CRA... all those former airport screeners who were rejected when the place was "federalized" now work for the CRA'S! (am I kidding?)

I've been able to use it to help accurately predict who will pull what for my state to approve credit. It's been an awesome tool to help build the credit back up.

And yes, my approvals and rejections are duly noted on there! I would go so far too say that it's every Creditnetter's duty to contribute to that resource, especially if you're lurking here...it's an awseome way to "give back to the community".

It has worked well for me also but we all need to update it to keep it current.

There has never been enough information there for me to use. I seem to be the only one from MI that uses the site. LOL

I think it is beneficial for me occasionally. I wish more people updated that site though. I have been able to find out that Generations and Chase pull TU exclusively-very useful when I get ready to apply! Also, I was able to see that GM MC pulled Eq. I applied and it was correct! It does seem that not many people from MD post there.

I just updated it with info from two cards I rec'd earlier in the year, and one I didn't :-( - before I knew MillCBS existed.

Took a best guess on dates, but it should be close. (+/- 2 weeks on the Date and 5 pts on FICO)

I agree it is a Duty for anyone here to keep that site current and fresh- a great way to give back.

I use it all the time and I always enter my results. I have found that, even if I don't have info for my state, that I can still predict who a creditor will pull just by looking at states CLOSE to me. So those that don't have entries from your state... use states close by and look at the pattern of inquiries (for example, a creditor pulls TU 80% of the time... chances are, they are going to pull TU, right?).

PS. Those that add inquiries to millcbs- it might be more helpful to wait until you get an approval or decline before posting and add in your score as well.

Plus you have to remember that CC companies get offers from the CRA's to change companies, so who they pull can/will change from time to time. Charlie

Also, another thing to consider. When you look up a creditor on Millcbs, take notice of how the person applied. I have noticed, for example, when you applied online for Target-Eq is pulled. Now, when you apply in the store, they have been pulling TU.
