Anyone who has a HELOC, let us know who it's with and how it reports. There seems to be quite a bit of variety out there. Some report and real estate loans, some report as revolving debt, some show as installment debt etc...

I have Wells Fargo and it reports as real estate debt

We have wells fargo equity line, and they report to all CRA's as a real estate equity line. It the CRA's that handle them differently. EX figures it into you revolving debt, but not your utlization percentage. EQ reports as revolving debt and is factored into your ult %. I am waiting to see TU, so i don't know yet.

Mine's Wells Fargo too. Now I know why my score's so much lower on EQ. My interpretation of TU was that they see it as a real estate loan and ignore the revolving part. My TU FICO is 50pts higher that EQ FICO. EX FAKO about in the middle.

DeepGreen Bank doesn't report to any of them, and they pull TU. They are a superb alternative, I have a web page up about them (no referral links or affiliate relationship) if interested:
