Ok folks, somebody please explain to me whats going on here:

Tuesday I noticed half my disputes finally hit my EQ report and show under investigation (part 1 of two letters sent out together both crrr). But as of yet, my other set of disputes have not shown up.

Here's the kicker, I have not received any green cards back, and when I check the status of the delivery via http://www.usps.com it show's then as not delivered. How can there be no delivery confirmation on either set of disputes, including the set that actually does show up as "under investigation"???

And here's the worst part; when I log into Credit watch it shows a log of TWO seperate dispute confirmations, one 12/02 and another on 12/04.
Because it shows two seperate confirmations, I now cannot manually go in and add any more disputes online.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHATS GOING ON HERE???

    Thanks in advance,
    Sal

A while back someone posted that the post office told them that they let them take the bundles of mail with them and return the green cards at their convenience since they get so many of them.

    Breeze,

No I haven't contacted USPS, but I'm sure they will have the same data which is up on the website.

    whyspers,

Huh?, so then If they so choose, they can hold onto them and never send them back. This makes no sense, as what would be the point of me sending anything out crrr in the first place?

For a little more money, you can get a UPS 2 day air-saver letter pak. With this you pick the exact date of delivery. You can later print out a copy of who signed for the package. They also have 3 day service as well. Ups will come right to your house or place of work. The phone number is 1-800-742-5877.

So maybe they don't have a plant in the post office.
Guess they don't need one anyway as this works as good or better.

I smell a lawsuit a-brewin'. So who's accountable? I have the same issue: two sets of disputes mailed 5 days apart. Still not signed for or registered as delivered. Still no sign of the green cards. But EQ has had both sets of disputes updated on my report for 5 days now. I'd really like to find out if EQ has an 'arrangement' that buys them the additional time it needs. That means it's time to change mail carriers...

Because of that reason (signing in bulk) I chose to send my CHOD letters via Priority Mail w/ Signature Confirmation. That way I could check online and get the date delivered and the name of the person signing for it.

    cma,

Can you believe that BS? All I know is that I payed $4 specifically to get a delivery receipt. The green card should not leave the carriers hands until it is signed and he forwards it on to me - none of this sounds right.

Sal, it is a total load of BS. On Monday (when I have some more time) I'm going to do a little research regarding the law and CRRR. It seems to me that the USPS is not operating according to thier own set of rules. This is a good mystery worth investigating.

sal they pick them up at a post office call service window they do not take them home. they sign for them there. Like the IRS they receive thousands so they pick them up twice a week and thats why it takes a while to get them back.post office might only give them a couple hundred at a time .and what you see at usps .com is not the same as what they see . go to post office with your certified slip and they can tell you when mail got there and who signed for it .................and print you a copy
