If the closing is within 30 days of getting your scores, do they just use that set of scores?

I thought that they only re-checked at closing if it has been over 30 days...Like there is some kind of 30 day valid score time frame.

I don't know if its everywhere, but I know here the bank checks at closing (or the day before) and the title companies do a quick check the day of closing to make sure there is nothing new showing up in the title.

L...who is really, really going to bed now.

It was three years ago + but I don't think mine did. I used countrywide mortgage and I think they only pulled when I applied.....

can't recall for sure and I don't remember if I closed within 30 days or not.

gee, I guess this post wasn't very helpful.......

    sorry

Hi trout, I will let you know, we went today and signed the doc"s if all goes well we should have the keyes no later than friday, this stuff drives a person crazy always wondering what will happen next, there were a few bills(credit cards} they wanted paid, my daughter didnt think and charged more ,so now its showing a higher balance and if they pull again I dont know whats going to happen , lucky it was a small amount, but it was one they wanted paid, Im sure everything will be fine for you, just hang in there!!

    My experience on a refi...

B of A gave approval on 8/16. Closed on 12/2. No hard or soft INQs were pulled between the initial approval and closing.

Could be that since it was a refi...
