Hi all, We finally got all teh paperwork completed today. The mortgage application will be sent today. How exhausting and stressful. I asked the mortgage broker how long it would be, she said it could take longer than usual because I have to be approved through wells fargo and rural housing. Could it be weeks until we know? Can anyone give me an estimate? thanks. jody
I just posted to you over on ivillage too. We just went through this a few weeks ago, and were told it would take 7-10 days. The problem we had was that applied during Thanksgiving week, so they were closed 4 1/2 days or so, so that pushed things back. They didn't even start the process til day 8. We found out on day 11. Now we just can't seem to find the perfect one!!
We had got a preappoval in july the houe was ready end of oct, took that long for everything else, we DROVE each other crazy!!
Oh, so are you talking about the time for closing, or to find out if you got a mortgage?? If you got a pre-approval, I guess I don't know what you were waiting to find out. I've never done this before, so there may be something that I'm missing.
