    Hey Everyone,

Just want to share a small story of what kind of success I have had since I started my journey! Back in Oct 2002, when I started my TU FICO score was 470, I have had some experience improving my credit, but, after learning some additional techniques and "tweaking" them. As of today's date my TU FICO score is 678, folks, that is a 208 PT increase in 3 months! Persistence pays off, I can also say that part of my success was staying "agressive" and being a "nutcase" a GREAT term that I learned from this magnificent board.

    Hey PSP,

I was "agressive" and I stayed agressive, and also I was a "nutcase". It took me less than two months to file a lawsuit against TU......I wasn't playing around anymore. I have done some credit improvements in the past. Back then I was to passive, I made a decision not to be passive anymore, I think that is part of the reason why I am having some success.....:)

Although I didn't have that level of success in 3 months, I too have had a 200+ pt increase with TU. It took me 9 months.

90% of my derrogs (and positives!! lol) have been deleted. I have been left with my discharged BK13 and 2 positive tradelines.

Great job! I love reading these type of posts- makes me realize that the carpal tunnel syndrome I'm probably going to get from all the TYPING is worth it hehe.

I just took a massive score drop on my TU- about 50 points. They deleted some older negs and another CA TL was added...grrrr. At this point, I've decided to focus on hubby's reports as the biggest things holding my scores down are my student loans-I finish their loan rehab programs later this year but until then they refuse to budge.

    Hey Lucas222

When I started back in Oct. I had collections, charge-offs etc.

I first started attacking the CRA's. When I didn't get the results that I should have received when I new most of the accounts had errors, I then made the OC & CA's provide the burden of proof of the TL's they were submitting to the CRA's. ALL of them could NOT provide proof, so, I made them DELETE those TL's from the CRA's. But, to my surprise, TU, would NOT remove those TL's even when they had irrefutable proof. So, I just went down to my local court house and filed a lawsuit in district court. Keep in mind, when I was dealing with the CA's & OC, I also got some outside assistance from the AG (Attorney General)

I never ONCE called anyone, everything was done in writing. UPS, CRRR etc.

The CA's were the toughest, the minute they DID NOT validate, I immediately sent a Intent-To-Sue letter via UPS. Every last ONE of them buckled. I also made them SEND a MANUAL UDF form deleting the TL from my reports and send me a copy as well.

I think my agressive attitude was a key to my success.

P.S. TU's Lawyer called and left a message on Friday and wanted to chat, but, I wasn't available. I will give him a call on Tues.

    Lucas,

I am a little reluctant to post one on the board, because you have CA's & CRA's monitoring the board, I also believe there is one here to. You can do a search for "intent-to-sue",but, if you like, give me your email address, and I will forward you a copy. It's in word format.

    my email address is bayrealty5k1@msn.com

    Wonderful Success story...

I am in the process of a BUNCH of disputes now. FIrst round had 11 deletions from TU and 9 deletions from EQ.

Waiting for results from last 6 disputes for each one.

Only 2 have verified. I guess my next step is to have CA's validate. Will you e-nail me a copy of your intent to sue letter and your request for validation letter? I could really use the help. I have managed a few cancellation letters, etc, but those 2 that won't budge are driving me nuts.

Also, have a TL that reports late pays. How do I get them to validate, since a OC doesn't have to validate? account has been current for 2 years now. I wonder if they have purged their information yet. How do I get them to validate?

Last but not least, I have a charge off through Home Federal (visa card). Still trying to figure this one out or if I should just go a different route. Was charged off in 1999. Any suggestions?

You are a prime example of what so many of us are trying to accomplish. Keep up the good work. If it is so addiciting, lol, come help me with my stuff!!!! I have to agree with you about the addicting part. WHen I first came here, I was like "good grief...these people know their scores and date of scores, etc!" now, I'm right in there too...anxiously checking the mail on a daily basis. I guess it is a productive obsession though, lol.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Nikki,

First of all, I want to say Congrats on your success so far, it's rewarding to see people have similar success.......keep up the good work.

Second, if you do a search for validation letter on this board you will find it. It's generic, and you will have to edit it for your own personal situation.

Let me give you a little advice. I always include the clause " a signed application, contract with my ssn, not just an invoice". Some people wouldn't do that, but, I consider that part of COMPLETE validation, MOST CA's will NOT have the original application, contract in house, but, some do.

As far as the charge-off you have. I am pretty sure there is a "nutcase" letter here that is designed for the OC, that is what most of the people use.

You would use the "nutacse" letter for the OC & CA. Remember, OC's DO NOT have to validate debts, that is for the CA, but, some people have had success in tripping up an OC in thinking they have to validate debts......LOL!!

Check out the first couple of threads....Especially Doc's Credit Repair Primer....

Also, don't be afraid to use the BBB & AG (Attorney General) I have had good success in using FREE help...:)

There is a LOT of knowledge on this board, if I miss something, someone will definately fill in the blanks........:)

    Bay,

Were you filing in Federal Court pro se ? I'm studying that now. It's a WHOLE different ballgame from small claims. It's very, ery, technical but can be done.

If you are filing pro se, do you have anyone guiding you through the process ?

    Edoggie,

I filed in district court, I did not file in federal court, I am not ready for that yet, I don't think I need it, but, I am studying it here and there.
