    Hi all,

I wrote a letter to Target Guest services through Planetfeedback asking them to remove a 30 day late notation from my credit report that happened in October 2002. I explained that the late payment was an oversite and that I had been paying my balance in full since that time and would like to be considered for an increase when I was eligible without this notation. I received a letter today saying that they were removing the 30 day late notation from all three of the credit reporting agencies! Just like that! I wish they were all this easy but I'm willing to take baby steps.

Good job! I think alot of people underestimate what PFB can do for them.

It just depends on whether the company has a special personel designated for PFB. For example, any PFB to Discover goes straight to the standard CSR moron.

I tried writing a letter thru planetfeedback.com to target guest services and it was not listed on their website...what did you send the letter to? I want to write them...I've have my card since 1998 and want another increase and they keep denying it and the reason is I haven't had the card long enough!

There is an entry for Target. Not specifically Guest Services, but I'd just go generic on it and let them sort it out / send it to the right person. Can't hurt.

When you type in "Target" for the company, a list should come up. I sent it to "Target Corporation". It won't say guest services specifically. Hope this helps. Side note: You've had the card since 1998 and they won't increase because you haven't had it long enough? That's crazy!

That is exactly what I figured to use and did just that....I had to edit the letter cause it was geared towrads a specific target store so I just changed it to Target Guest Card and included my account number. Hoping they will forward it to the correct area.

    Thanks!

BTW: I think the reason it was denied for lack of payment history and not enough history...I closed out the card back about 6 months ago and reopened it back up about 2 months ago so it was closed out for a good 3-4 months in 2002. What I'm thinking is the system is only going back to the "reopen" date instead of 1998 when I originally got it.
