Well I think it's odd anyway... the other day I called Discover and asked about a BT - they quoted me 3.9% until June, no fees. Okay, so I log on to do that. On their site it quotes me 5.99%. I drop CS an email and ask which one it is. They reply if I do BT online, it's 5.99%, via telephone is 3.9%. Guess it pays to investigate both methods! Anyway, just an FYI. Ozzy.

Once you make a lower-rate BT over the phone, it becomes available online. You can call, make a $100 BT, and then proceed to transfer 1000's online. Saar
Very true. In many cases, the first BT offer a phone rep makes you is not the lowest. Always inquire whether there are lower-rate offers for your account. Also inquire about BT transaction fees and remember Discover uses 2-cycle billing. Saar
