    Thanks PSP,

For a minute, I thought they didn't want to, but, he said, what can we do to resolve this? I said take a look at my settlement letter and then we will consider it settled, he said he would send me a new report and take care of it. I couldn't get any cash, but, who cares, I should get the terms I requested in writing in a day or so......:)

Like one of the CN's Said, ANOTHER one for the good guys.......:)

Thats great news! Now if we can all have as much luck as you. At some point TU will become wise to this and update thier antiquated system, but intil then sue away.

Do you think they will become wise in the near future, NOT, they have been in many lawsuits, you think they would get the hint, but, it's not likely, if it costs TU tons of money to update their system, it probably will not happen for some time.

    Bay,

What violations did you get TU on?

    bayrealty4 Well-Known Member

    Chitown,

When I brought litigation against TU, the violations I had on them were as follows:

    1. Refusing to accept my documentation relavant to the investigation (Section 611)

    2. Accounts in question not marked as "account in dispute" (Section 605)

    3. Compliance Procedures (Section 607)

    bayrealty4:

I tried to email you privately but your email is not turned on. Would you mind posting a generic copy of your settlement letter to TU? Congrtaulations.

    Hey Bay...

WOOOOHOOO!! Good for you and congrats. Read the CSC class action suit and you will find some violations similar to yours. I am interested in how you handled it and what corrspondence you sent them. Did they delete all negs or just ones in question with regards to disputes? Have lots of questions. Let me know via the board or e-mail.

You've got some back-patting to be done! That is so awesome. Thanks for all the advice.

    Robin,

my email address is bayrealty5k1@msn.com, if you can't reach me there, try, southshore2k1@hotmail.com. I will email you a copy of it. Some of the vets who left the board, had a hand in giving me a few pointers. The credit improvement knowledge was something I had, but, after listening to some of the Lawsuit kings/queens, I decided to PULL THE TRIGGER!

bay are you a realtor? also on the second violation "failure to post in dispute". does that mean that the cra have to put or update cr as "in dispute"on late pays that are disputed in the 30 days given to them?

    Hey tmpd11298,

The answer to your first question is NO, I am a private real estate investor. Second, no matter what kind of dispute you have, IT HAS TO BE NOTED as "account in dispute" whether it be the CRA or OC.

    Congatulations bayrealty4!!!!

I hope my upcoming suit with EXP goes as smoothly, hoping to file by next week.

BTW, I believe Chase and Bank of America both run TU exclusively. When my TU was clean, I applied for a BofA platinum and was approved for 9k with a 9.99% fixed rate.

    Hey Cindy,

Thanks for the support, I applied for BOFA, but, they said I had a charge-off, I applied immediately after everything was clean, I had to go through pfb, I haven't heard anything yet, so, I will see.......:)
