I am considering filing suit against Experian as they will not investigate my dispute even though I have proof the information is incorrect and the account has been reaged. They do not have a local office in my state so can I file suit and see if they show? also, should I file in small claims or distrcit? Thanks, MK
Did you call your Secretary of State to see if they have an agent of service in your state? Its not necessarily their office.
i had them served through the registered agent in my state for small claims court. They have since violated again and I am prepared to file in district court...it really is up to you... I won my small claims default judgment, recieved payment in 30 days. I had to prove damages which i did...
