What state are you in, and is the creditor the OC or a CA?

Try WhyChat's site - he has good information on repossession. I think, but could easily be wrong, that the UCC only allows 2 years to collect defiency balances on repos, in which case your SOL might already be up. If that's the case, at the very least you can get the balance on your reports zereod out.

First and foremost, though, check the Oklahoma laws and make sure that they were followed to the letter. In most cases, they are not, and as such, no defeciency can ever be collected.
