I have been on a Creditnet vacation for a month or so, and when I came back I noticed that millcbs is gone. I know that millcbs had its problems, but it was at least a guide to work with. I have asked this question before, but now with a new guru at the helm and millcbs gone maybe now is the time to try and setup a Creditnet version of millcbs. I'm not a computer expert, but it would seem fairly easy to make an area like the General Lounge for people to input there inquiry data info. I have said all along that I thought it would get a lot more input than millcbs if it were on Creditnet. It would be an extremely valuable tool for CNer's to use. I bet it would get more use than any part of CN except straight talk. Also, welcome Steve as the new guru. Charlie

Bump, no one else thinks it is feasible? Charlie

I think its a great idea myself but it would probably take hand coding. It could be done in some of the higher languages such as cgi, php, sql and other database programs and using one of the data base languags it could be provided with an input form but then the problem is keeping people from "spamming" the thing and ruining it's accuracy so from that standpoing hand coding might be the only viable option.

A separate forum just for that purpose would not work because one would have to wade through a zillion messages to come up with the answer. Because of the hand coding problem millcbs was never much good.

It's a great idea but implementing it could very well be a nightmare nobody would want to mess with.
