I converted my platinum select to the dividend platinum select and my APR went from 14.240 down to 11.650.

How can this be possible? I thought the dividend card comes with a higher APR.
Not that it matters to me because I pay in full, but just curious.

Nope, I don't really care about the rate.

The card is only 2 years old, is that why its still up there

My card with Citi is also new (I have the Illumina card). My rate will be 9...% after the intro period. I plan on switching to either the diamond or dividend card after I clock 6 months with them. Maybe I'll also ask for a lower rate.

It happens. My Div Plat is at 9.1% and my Plat Select at 12.9%. Didn´t I tell you that in a previous post a week or so ago?

My two Platinum Select cards are at prime +1.9 and prime +2.9. When I called R for something else last week they told me their lowest rate they are moving accounts to right now is prime +2.99 on the Platinum Select product.

My Citibank Dividend Platinum Select Card APR for purchases is 7.99% fixed. They give special rate for purchases until next month (since last November) is 5.99% fixed.

I just FINALLY got my Plat Select APR lowered to 6.24% variable. I called, complained, whined, was told no, called another number, complained, whined.. well you get the idea. Was also offered a BT of 4.9% for 9 months.

    Ozzy.
